a hypothetical question.. at a minimum, what evidence would it take to prove that the society is trying to quietly shed publishers?.
now, i don't think we have evidence of this yet but that doesn't mean it could never happen.
we must consider where the trends of magazine/literature cuts, branch office sales, coerced contributions, bethel/do layoffs, and emphasis on jw.org lead us.. otoh, you might argue that there would never be a deliberate move to get rid of them, just moves that discreetly abandon them.
It takes a hunch!
I said on here 4 or 5 yrs ago that their ultimate end game is for the R&F pubs to catch a clue and go away. Someone posted a few days ago about it becoming an 'E-Religion' thanks to their launch of JW.org that pretty nicely sums it up and fixes their problem of dealing with the pubs/drones.
its not easy being an introvert in an extrovert worldespecially when youre a kid.
it is even more difficult if none of the adults in the kids life recognize that the child is an introvert.
this doesnt happen only when the childs parents are extroverts, but also with introverted parents who have never understood their own introverted nature.. .

all my friends and family are jw's, and i am employed by a jw (who is actually a great boss).

Part of a woman's BENEFIT PACKAGE (that she EARNS) is medical and dental insurance.
Hence, spending her medical insurance to obtain contraceptives is NO different than spending her cash to obtain contraceptives. However, now, the medical benefits women receive are being selectivly reduced. Why?
Because some employer and the SCOTUS have decided to interfere in her life, take management away from her, and determine that she can't have the birth control she previsouly had access to because it offends THEIR corporation's religious conscience.
